Our stylish, private 2-bedroom suite (Qualmark 4 stars) is upstairs and all yours; own bathroom downstairs. The unit is separated from our house by a carport where you park your car. You have your own entrance, plus privacy and your own facilities, plus TV in each room, and a galley kitchen with all crockery and cutlery and a microwave and frypan. We offer garden-fresh, home-made, delicious breakfasts in the house or garden with us, featuring seasonal produce we have grown ourselves, e.g. avocado's, tomatoes, fresh juice, and we make a fantastic Coconut Muesli plus our own Greek Yoghurt to serve with whatever fruit is ready in the garden. As well we tempt you with our delicious preserves. Cost is $150 per night with 3rd+ nights less 10%. Dinner by arrangement, $50 with wine.
Mimiha Cottage (Qualmark 4 stars) has everything you need for weekend or longer; a home away from home. Minimum 2-night stay $300 with breakfast provided, 3rd+ nights @ $100, self service. Pets are welcome if kept outside. Everything is good quality; your comfort is assured. Free Wi-Fi on site.
We have been finalists 4 times for Spirit of Hospitality awards, and winners in 2010.
Our gorgeous 2+hectare garden is there for you to enjoy. You can relax under treesor play petanque, or go walking up the no-exit country road or over the farmland hills. The beach is just 5 minutes walk down the road. After a busy day have a relaxing soak in our luxurious outdoor spa pool.
Our two outside dogs, Max & Mo, are friendly fox terriers who guard the garden from possums and rabbits.
Our property is central to Rotorua, Tauranga, White Island, Whakatane and close to the main road (SH2)and beach, but being just off the main traffic highway it is peaceful and quiet and conducive to sleep. This is a very pretty valley and the atmosphere is serene and tranquil.
