Old World Elegance describes this delightful B&B.
Formerly a popular hotel for over 100 years now a small historic B&B situated in a quiet scenic
rural location next to the Historic Lower Shotover Bridge, river, and walking track. Resident
Springer Spaniel Buckley is always happy to accompany you on your walk and will make you feel like
you are coming home when you return from your day out. Owner’s accommodation is adjoining with
Glenys and Kevin your hosts offering advice, information and booking service to ensure you make the
most of your visit to Queenstown without stress. Kevin loves Fly Fishing and offers local knowledge
and advice; we can also provide fishing gear to guests for no extra charge. During the Ski Season
we let the whole house for groups or families on a self-cater basis. The Guesthouse has a special
ambience reflecting its history with photo’s from the past. A kitchen that would have made Granny
proud and a charming lounge-dining room which is inviting and relaxing and kept warm by a roaring
log wood-burner. Guesthouse consists of a double room with antique brass bed and ensuite bathroom, a
double room with king-size bed and a small twin room (suitable for children) with a share bathroom,
also an extra toilet with vanity, and full kitchen and laundry.
