Our beautiful home is absolute lake edge and offers quality, well appointed accommodation just a short drive out of Rotorua, just far enough away to be both tranquil and sulphur free and yet still within easy access to the host of attractions that Rotorua has to offer. Built in the 1920's The Lake House enjoys extensive northern lake views to take full advantage of all day sunshine.

Being lake edge, all rooms have outstanding views over Lake Rotorua to Mokoia Island and beyond. Take a walk along the lake edge, swim in the lake, paddle our kayaks, relax on sun loungers in our beautiful gardens and enjoy our luxurious spa room.

Guests are welcome in the lounge at any time where there is a large screen plasma TV, DVD and Bose sound system. A selection of books and games are available.

Wireless internet access is available throughout the property. Guests have access to voice over internet telephone calls where calls to most international landlines are free.

There is so much to see and do in and around Rotorua and we are happy to help guests plan their precious time in Rotorua and make bookings for them.

Carol's breakfasts are truly memorable, enjoy your choice of teas, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, cereals and fruit, followed by the hot dish of the day, and if you are still up for it, toast or croissants with a selection of homemade preserves.

Your hosts, Carol and Ken, have travelled widely around the world and have lived and worked in New Zealand, The United Kingdom and The Middle East. Ken, a Business Manager and Civil Engineer and Carol, a Primary School Teacher are now enjoying hosting Bed and Breakfast guests in Rotorua and will be happy to pass on their extensive local knowledge and share stories from around the world.

Lessening our impact on the environment is very important to us and we have joined The Rotorua Sustainable Tourism Charter to help us monitor our initiatives and progress. We are pleased to have recently been granted an enviro-silver award by qualmark.
